OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS CARE
Our Lady of the Way Parish runs a full Outside School Hours Care program, situated in the school grounds. It offers before school care, after school care and vacation care.
The program aims to provide care and recreation for preschool and primary school aged children in a safe, supervised environment and to provide a balanced variety of play and recreational activities to meet the needs and interests of children.
The children enjoy a variety of activities both indoors and out, all designed for participation and achievement at age appropriate levels. These include free play, organised games, art and craft etc. Time and opportunity is allocated to allow homework to be attempted.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Before School Care: 6.30am - 8.45 am
After School Care: 2.45pm - 6.00pm
Vacation Care: 7.00am - 6.00pm
ENROLMENT AND BOOKING PROCEDURE
A Registration Form is to be completed for each child who attends the service. This form is to be accompanied by the registration fee. The coordinator will briefly interview the parents/guardians to clarify information contained on the Enrolment Form.
All information given on registration forms remains strictly confidential. It is the parents'/guardians' responsibility to inform the coordinator immediately upon any changes of details contained in the registration form, eg change of address, phone numbers, authorised people to collect children, etc.
Bookings for children who will attend on regular days each week should be made by filling out a booking form and resubmitting details as changes occur. Bookings for children attending on a casual basis can be made by advising the coordinator two working days in advance, except in unexpected circumstances.
