Physical Education and Health
A specialist teacher works each week with every grade on Physical Education and Health. An attitude to good sportsmanship, health and nutrition are taught within an atmosphere of encouragement and fun.
SPORT
Children in Years 6 and 7 have the opportunity to be involved in interschool sport as part of the Pine Rivers Primary Sports Association. While the sport options vary each year, generally it includes such sports as Rugby League, Netball, Soccer, Tennis, Basketball, Touch Football, Cricket, Softball. Athletics, Swimming and Cross Country occur annually.
These sports are played at a variety of venues around the Shire with children being transported by bus. Our children have traditionally done very well in sport with many making representative teams. We encourage parents to support teams as coaches and managers.
Children in lower grades (4 & 5) can be involved in interschool sport depending on local arrangements. This is generally with one other school.
